More than 2200 spectators attend film festival ahead of the Jubilee

The film festival ‘Volti e countervolti della Speranza’ (Faces and Counterfaces of Hope) which was held from 14th to 21st April at the Cinema delle Provincie in Rome has been hailed as a major success with the public. Over 2200 people, in a single week, attended 12 films for free, two films per  day were shown, making a total of 14 screenings. The films were chosen from among classic films in the history of Italian cinema and other more recent big screen releases. The film festival was part of a rich offering of cultural events being staged in preparation for the Holy Year, under the title "Jubilee is culture", which also includes concerts and top ranking art exhibitions scheduled for 2024 and 2025.
