The Mexican Church is preparing for the Jubilee

The Episcopal Conference of Mexico (CEM) is working hard to involve the Christian community in preparations for the great celebration of faith and reconciliation that will be the next Holy Year. For this reason, the Mexican bishops have set up a section of their website dedicated to the Year of the Council, the Year of Prayer which is now underway, and the Jubilee Year, which can be accessed from the link: https://cem.org.mx/jubileo/

The Jubilee section of the site refers browsers directly to the official website of the Holy Year - www.iubilaeum2025.va  For the Year of Prayer, the CEM has made available free of charge, in PDF format, the Spanish language translations of the 8 volumes of the "Notes on Prayer", which are useful tools for deepening the habit of prayer and putting personal and community prayer back at the center of the lives of believers. In the section dedicated to the Year of the Council, which the Church marked in 2023, some of the 34 volumes of the "Council Notebooks" series have been made available in digital format, linked to the four Council Constitutions, and accompanied by short explanatory videos and summaries.

In addition, the Mexican Episcopal Conference has produced a very effective video advert on the Jubilee, which is useful for starting to involve children, young people and adults in preparation for 2025.
