Jubilee Audience with Pope Francis

For All

On the occasion of the Jubilee 2025, the Holy Father has arranged special General Audiences for the many pilgrims travelling to Rome. The Dicastery for Culture and Education extends a warm invitation to artists and the entire world of culture to participate in this important meeting with Pope Francis, using the usual procedures for General Audiences.

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15th 2025, 10-13 – VATICAN MUSEUMS

International meeting «Sharing Hope – Horizons of Cultural Heritage»

The Dicastery for Culture and Education, in collaboration with the Vatican Museums, is organising a meeting for museum directors and operators in the art and academic world and cultural institutions, for a reflection on the current possibilities, methods and languages for the promotion and transmission of the religious and artistic heritage. At the end of the meeting, which will be attended by international speakers, an educational manifesto on the transmission of the cultural code of religions will be signed.

Opening of the Window Gallery - Conciliazione 5, located in Via della Conciliazione, and presentation of the project of Yan Pei-Ming, in cooperation with the Italian Department of Penitentiary Administration and the Community of the Regina Coeli Prison.

White night and passage of the Holy Door

The Dicastery for Culture and Education, in cooperation with St. Peter’s Basilica, invites the world of arts and culture to perform together the most emblematic gesture of the Jubilee, the passing of the Holy Door, and to follow a spiritual and cultural path through the Basilica.

Pope Francis meets with protagonists of the world of art and culture

For the first time a Pontiff goes to Cinecittà. Pope Francis will visit the studios of Rome and encounter a representation of artists and protagonists of the world of culture. In cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Culture and Cinecittà.

Opening of the exhibition “Global Visual Poetry: transnational trajectories in Visual Poetry”
