The Jubilee at Lucca Comics & Games

The Dicastery for Evangelization, responsible for organizing the Jubilee of 2025, took part in the Lucca Comics and Games festival with a pavilion dedicated to the official mascot of the Jubilee - Luce.

The Jubilee Pavilion located in the Archbishopric of Lucca, in Piazzale Monsignor Giulio Arrigoni, was open to visitors from October 30 to November 3 allowing people to meet Luce and learn more about the activities of the Jubilee

“It was an opportunity to publicize the Jubilee, and also meet Luce, who is a symbol of hope and community,” said the Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, who is in charge of organizing the Holy year. “A showcase like Lucca Comics allows us to reach younger generations and engage with them on the theme of hope, which is so central to the Gospel message.”

During the event, a 7-meter-high inflatable version of the mascot was unveiled, which was visible on the lawn in front of the pavilion near the main entrance.
