For the Youth Jubilee, Rome’s Civil Protection Department is opening shower areas for pilgrims in Rome

23 July 2025

During the Youth Jubilee, scheduled to run from July 28 to August 3, 2025, Rome’s Civil Protection Department will set up an extraordinary service for pilgrims, by opening special free shower areas in several strategic areas of the city and in the immediate vicinity of the capital. This initiative, aimed at ensuring hygiene and comfort for pilgrims, is part of a broader assistance plan for the Jubilee week.

The shower stations will be operational near Rome's main train stations and at a sports facility in the Castelli Romani area. Specifically, they will be available at Piazzale dei Partigiani, near Ostiense Station, on Via Masaniello near Tiburtina Station, and on Via Nuova delle Fornaci, near San Pietro Station. A shower point will also be operational at the Frascati Sports Hall,  at Viale Luigi Einaudi 9.

The Civil Protection Department urges pilgrims to use the service with respect, and to play their part in making this important moment of spirituality and encounter a positive experience for all. Further information will be available at official reception points and through the Jubilee's official channels.
