Discover the website of the 2025 Jubilee Year!

15 May 2023

On Wednesday, 10th March the new website for the Jubilee 2025 came online. It is a very agile and functional portal available in nine languages which already displays the most important content to help your understanding of the Jubilee year. From September, it will be possible to sign up for events as well as the pilgrimage to the Holy Door.

On the homepage you can find all the information regarding the Holy Door at Saint Peter’s and the other Basilicas, as well as all the other symbols of the Jubilee and other news which are constantly being updated. Next to the news, there is a section with events, where upcoming initiatives will be always kept up-to-date. From the menu at the top of the screen there is the possibility to consult the stages of work being carried out by the preparatory commissions, as well as the names of Jubilee delegates of the from Italian dioceses and the International Episcopal Conferences.

There is also the possibility to organise one’s own pilgrimage inside the city, and there are three proposed possibilities: the traditional seven churches walk made famous by Saint Philip Neri; the pilgrimage to the churches dedicated to the female Doctors of the Church and Patronesses of Europe; and the Iter Europaeum, which is a journey around the 28 churches representing the 27 European countries, in addition to the church representing the European Union. Tools are being prepared which will better introduce these routes, as well as helping to facilitate knowledge of the works of art present in the churches. This is an important task, prepared with the help of the Ministry of Tourism, which will promote the rediscovery of the many places around the city which are often unknown to tourists.

From September the Pilgrim’s area will become active. This is a personal page which you can access after you have signed up. After you have inscribed and entered the requested data, you will receive a digital copy of the Pilgrim’s card, which includes a personal Qr code which is necessary to access the Jubilee events and to organise the pilgrimage to the Holy Door.
