Piazza Pia Jubilee building site is blessed by Archbishop Fisichella

In the early afternoon of yesterday, Monday 4 December, Archbishop Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, visited the Jubilee construction site in Piazza Pia to bless the workers.

“May the Lord protect you in carrying out your work. We are doing an important work for Rome, which the people of Rome have been waiting for and which will be important for everyone. But it is an operation planned and carried out ahead of a primarily religious event, namely the Jubilee,” said Archbishop Fisichella at the start of the blessing.

Present at the blessing ceremony were the Mayor of Rome and Extraordinary Commissioner for the Jubilee, Roberto Gualtieri, the Councilor for Public Works and Infrastructure, Ornella Segnalini, the President of ANAS, Edoardo Valente, the CEO and Director General of ANAS, Aldo Isi, and all the workers who will be working on site.
