Cuadernos del Concilio – Council notebooks
The Spanish Bishops’ Conference has published in a single volume, in Spanish, the 35 booklets of the ‘Quaderni del Concilio’ series produced by the Holy See.
The editorial project, entitled ‘Cuadernos del Concilio’ aims to make some of the most important Conciliar content better known to younger generations who didn’t live through the Vatican II years and don’t know much about the Council.
Apart from the publication of the new book, by the publishing house Biblioteca de Autores Cristianos, the Bishops’ Conference has also produced material for each of the four conciliar constitutions – a printed summary, a podcast (available on Spotify) and a video summary.
The book is designed to be an easy-to-consult guide to help people study, discover and deepen their awareness of the Council – the most important event in the Catholic Church in the 20th century – as the Church marks its 60th anniversary.
