Jubilee of the World of Work

The Jubilee of the World of Work was celebrated in Rome on Saturday, November 8, 2025. The event, was originally scheduled to take place from May 1 to 4, but unfortunately, due to the death of Pope  Francis, it was canceled. Following numerous requests, the Dicastery decided to once again dedicate a Jubilee day to the world of work, set for November 8.

Approximately 10,000 pilgrims representing all the labor associations and federations and the world of volunteers participated in the Jubilee. The event program included participation in the Jubilee Audience with the Holy Father Leo XIV in St. Peter's Square at 9:30 a.m., followed by the opportunity to pass through the Holy Door of the Basilica. The Dicastery is grateful to the National Council for Employment and Labour (CNEL) for promoting the invitation to all intermediary bodies to participate in the meeting with Pope Leo on November 8th to celebrate the Jubilee of the World of Work.
