Information for journalists and media representatives ahead of the Procession of the Confraternities

In order to cover the Great Procession of Confraternities on Saturday 17 May, journalists and media operators will be able to access the press areas, from 1.30pm only if they have a valid accreditation from the Holy See Press Office. A press area will be set up in front of the dais where the civil and religious authorities will be gathered at the Circus Maximus, in Piazzale Ugo La Malfa. This stand is reserved primarily for photographers and TV crews. It is not possible to broadcast live TV from this location. The site can be accessed via Via delle Terme Deciane.

Two other press areas will be set up in Via di San Gregorio and in Piazza di Porta Capena, where it WILL be possible to broadcast live TV. Please note however that there is no dedicated network connection on site. The procession route can be followed from outside the marked route.
