During the Youth Jubilee, pilgrims are strongly advised to use public transport to get around the city, to their accommodation, and between the various locations where the events will take place, such as St Peter's Square, Circus Maximus and Tor Vergata. For the occasion, in fact, transport lines will be reinforced. If you have an A1, A1+27, A1+4, A2, A3, A4, B or B+4 package, you are already entitled to the transport ticket included in the Giubileo Giovani pass. The duration varies depending on the period of stay: with packages A1, A1+27, A1+4, A2, A3, A4, the ticket is valid for one week, while with packages B and B+4, the ticket lasts for 72 hours. The ticket allows you to travel on city and suburban buses, underground trains A, B, B1 and C, regional trains (only for travel between accommodation and Jubilee activities) and extra-urban Cotral services. To use the transport ticket, use the QR code printed on the back of the Jubilee pass. To enter the metro, simply scan the QR code at the Tap&Go on the entrance turnstiles, while for all other public transport you must show the pass to Atac operators, who will authorise passage by recognising the identifying colour.
