Discover the apps you can download to experience the Youth Jubilee at its best!

21 July 2025

From July 28 to August 3, 2025, hundreds of thousands of young pilgrims from all over the world will gather in Rome to participate in the Youth Jubilee. To make the most of the experience, we recommend a series of apps which will prove extremely useful before and during your stay in Rome.

The main app is undoubtedly Iubilaeum25, available on the App Store and Play Store. It is the official Jubilee app, designed to accompany pilgrims throughout the Jubilee Year. It lets you consult the updated program of events, receive real-time communications, and obtain detailed information on the program and event locations.

Participants who have purchased packages with a food option will find a QR code on the back of their Jubilee pass. This code gives access to the Amici del Pellegrino  web app, which allows you to activate and spend the €10 meal vouchers at participating restaurants and designated distribution points. The vouchers, valid for a full year, can be combined and used without daily limits. This platform does not need to be downloaded from digital stores and can be accessed directly from your browser.

Pilgrims with visual or hearing impairments can download the Vatican for All app, available on the App Store and Play Store. It is designed to facilitate active participation in events by offering visual and audio support to allow users to follow the celebrations with maximum autonomy.

We also recommend downloading the Vatican Vox app, available on both the App Store and Play Store. It provides simultaneous translation and commentary in multiple languages (Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, English, and French) for the celebrations and key moments of the Jubilee, particularly those taking place at Tor Vergata.

For those who prefer a commentary-based experience, we recommend the official Vatican Radio app Radio Vaticana (App Store and Play Store), which will broadcast the events live with translations into Italian, French, English, Spanish, Brazilian, German, Polish, and Portuguese.

In addition to the official Jubilee apps, we also recommend downloading the following apps before arriving in Rome:

Acquea, created by ACEA, which allows you to quickly locate public drinking fountains in the city (App Store and Play Store)

● The virtual assistant Julia ( https://julia.comune.roma.it/en/ ), accessible via app or website. Julia provides real-time information on city mobility, public transport, waiting times, liturgical celebrations, museum openings, pharmacy opening hours, and points of cultural interest. It also offers personalized restaurant and eatery recommendations based on your area and budget, providing a practical and informed tool for experiencing the city.

All pilgrims are encouraged to download the recommended apps before their arrival, familiarize themselves with their content, and keep them updated to ensure a stress-free, organized, and fulfilling experience at the Youth Jubilee. Thanks to these digital tools, each participant will be able to easily access information, navigate Rome independently, and actively participate in Jubilee events, fully grasping the profound meaning of this great moment of faith, encounter, and communion.
