Transport ticket information

24 July 2025

During the Youth Jubilee, pilgrims are strongly advised to use public transport to get around the city, to travel to and from their accommodation, and to move between the various locations where events will take place, such as St. Peter's Square, the Circus Maximus, and Tor Vergata. Extra transport links will be put in place for the occasion.

If you have an A1, A1+27, A1+4, A2, A3, A4, B, or B+4 package, you are already entitled to the transport ticket included in the Youth Jubilee pass. The duration varies based on the length of your stay: with packages A1, A1+27, A1+4, A2, A3, and A4, the ticket is valid for one week, while with packages B and B+4, the ticket is valid for 72 hours.

The ticket allows you to travel on city and suburban buses, subway lines A, B, B1, and C, regional trains (only for travel between accommodation and Jubilee activities), and Cotral suburban services. To use the transport ticket, use the QR code printed on the back of the Jubilee pass. Entering the subway (Metropolitana in Italian), simply scan the QR code at the entrance turnstiles. For all other public transport, show the pass to Atac drivers/operators, who will authorize travel by recognizing the color.
